Privacy Policy

Plain language. No legalese. This is what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

When you create an account we collect your email address and the password you set (stored as a secure hash — we never see it).
When you build a guide we store the content you enter: property name, address, check-in notes, Wi-Fi details, local spots, and any cover image you upload.
We log standard server-side request metadata (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and debugging.
We do not run advertising trackers or sell data to third parties.

To show your guide to guests who visit your guide link.
To let you log in and manage your guides.
To send transactional emails (password reset, payment receipt). No marketing email without your opt-in.
To improve reliability — understanding where errors occur and how pages perform.

Data is stored on Supabase (hosted on AWS). Supabase is SOC 2 Type II certified.
All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). Passwords are hashed with bcrypt.
Cover images and section photos are stored in Supabase Storage with access controls.
We keep data in the EU/US regions. If that changes we'll update this page.

Payments are handled by third-party processors. We never see or store your card details.
We receive a purchase confirmation and record your entitlement in our database.

Guests who open a guide link are not asked to create an account.
We log standard server request data (IP, timestamp) for security. No guest data is sold or shared.

You can export or delete your account and all associated guide data at any time from Settings → Delete account.
To request a data export by email, contact us below.
If you're in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data under GDPR / UK GDPR.

We use one session cookie to keep you logged in. No ad-tracking cookies.
Blocking cookies will prevent you from staying logged in to the host dashboard. The guest guide works without cookies.

If we make material changes we'll email registered users and update the date at the bottom of this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
